Founded in 1978, Coill Dubh Association Football Club is a soccer club based in a Bord na Móna village in North Kildare.
We currently have 11 teams including a Senior Men's First Team, Second Team and Youth Teams from Under 15's down to U8's, in addition to a Football for All programme.
Our home ground is Cusack Park, which is located on the Dagwelds Road just before entering the village of Coill Dubh.
Since 2010, thanks to the superb hard work and determination of our club members, we have continued to develop facilities at Cusack Park.
Cusack Park boasts floodlights, nets behind both goals, dugouts and fencing installed around our main pitch. Additional lighting has been installed on our secondary pitch for training and for the local community to walk around.
The club is now over halfway through the construction of a club house and dressing rooms.
Our Senior Teams currently play in the Kildare & District Football League and our club has proven to be the most successful club in the history of the KDFL. From 1998/99 to 2011 we finished in the top two in the top division in the KDFL on 12 occasions in 14 years, winning the league a record 6 times in that period and we are the only club to have won 3 League Titles in a row from 2002/03 to 2004/05. We also were the first side to retain the Lumsden Cup in 2011.
Our Underage play in the Kildare & District Underage League.
Our Club Colours are Black/White with Red.
There is a feeling of a new era for our club, as we continue to expand by developing our home grounds along with recruiting new teams, players and members.
